Emma Bayman
Clinical Director
BVSc Cert VA MRCVSAfter graduating from Liverpool University, Emma moved to North Wales and gained experience at practices in Rutland and Somerset. She joined our team in 2012 after settling in Anglesey with her family, and has a particular interest in emergency and critical care and anaesthesia. She loves horse riding, baking, going to the beach and looking after her pets.

Stefan Totir
Clinical Director
MRCVSStefan graduated in 2009, and worked as a mixed animal vet in Romania for three years before moving to the UK in 2013. He has been with our team since 2018, and his main interests include bovine reproduction, cattle and sheep embryo transfers and bull fertility. He holds a diploma in bovine reproduction, and loves spending his free time with his family.

John Griffiths
Clinical Director
BVetMed MRCVSOur clinical director John joined the team shortly after qualifying as a veterinary surgeon in 2000. He has a passion for farm animal medicine and herd health planning, particularly cattle work. When he’s not working, he enjoys spending time with his family and walking his dogs.

Mari Hughes
Veterinary Surgeon
BVM BVS MRCVSOriginally from Anglesey, Mari graduated from Nottingham University in 2019. She joined our team as a mixed veterinary surgeon a year later, and her main interests include emergency farm animal work and small animal surgery. In her spare time, she enjoys walking her dogs, travelling and helping out on her family farm.

Howie Shribman

BVSc MRCVSOriginally from the Peak District, Howie graduated from Liverpool University in 2022 and joined our team the same year. He has a particular interest in small animal soft tissue surgery, and is passionate about providing quality care to his patients. He lives locally with his wife, who shares his love for rock climbing and the mountains.

Andrew Button
Veterinary Surgeon
VetMB MA MRCVSAndrew qualified as a veterinary surgeon in 2013, and has been with us since 2021. He works across all disciplines, but you can usually find him out on a farm somewhere or working from our Amlwch branch. In his own time, he is kept busy with his dog, cat, sheep, horse and colony of Indian stick insects.

BAVetMB MRCVSEmily has been working in mixed practices since graduating from the University of Cambridge in 2016. She joined us in 2022, and enjoys working across species and performing surgeries. In her free time, she can usually be found exploring the local area with her lurcher, Tilly.

BVSc CertAVP MRCVSLucy joined the team shortly after graduating from Liverpool University of 2016, and previously worked at a large stud farm. She holds a certificate in advanced veterinary practice in equine, and loves riding her own horses, spending time outdoors, travelling and swimming or boating on the sea.

Carmen Petzer

BVSc MRCVSCarmen graduated from the University of Pretoria in 2013, after which she moved to North Wales and joined our team in 2017. She has a keen interest in small animal surgery and medicine, and loves everything from small furries to exotic species. In her spare time, she enjoys open water swimming, reading and relaxing with her cat, Jack.

BVSc MRCVSMia has been with us since graduating from Bristol University in 2022. She grew up locally and is a fluent welsh speaker. She is a small animal and equine vet with a passion for surgery and equine reproduction. Outside of work, she enjoys running and exploring the local mountains with her dog Willow.

Kayleigh Price Williams

BVSc MRCVSKayleigh joined Bodrwnsiwn as a mixed practice vet after graduating from Liverpool University in 2015, and also has an animal science degree. She has a particular interest in small animal surgery, and enjoys gardening, walking her dog and spending time on her small holding, where she keeps chickens, rears pigs and grows her own vegetables

She joined our team the same year, and has a particular passion for farm animal work and small animal surgery. Outside of work, she loves singing in her local choir and spending time in the countryside.

MRCVSStefan graduated from Iasi, Romania, in 2017 and worked as a farm vet before moving to the UK in 2020. He began his UK career at a practice near Oxford before relocating to Mid Wales, then joined Bodrwnsiwn in September 2024. He has a strong interest in farm animal health, fertility, and herd and flock health planning.
Outside of work, Stefan enjoys hiking, attending rock concerts, and going on long walks with his beautiful black Labrador, Ziggy.

Erin Bryce

MRCVSErin joined Bodrwnsiwn in 2024 after graduating from the University of Liverpool. Originally from Scotland, she is a mixed practice vet with a strong interest in equine, small and large animal work. Outside of work, she enjoys competing her dogs in field trials across the UK. She’s from a horse riding background, with a particular passion for dressage, though these days she enjoys the odd hack.

MRCVSMonica graduated in 2021 in Romania, and moved to the UK the same year. After successfully passing the RCVS Statutory Examination, she began working as a veterinary surgeon in the UK. She joined the Bodrwnsiwn team in 2024 and enjoys being part of a supportive and dedicated practice.
Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her dog, Ziggy, and her cat, Sisi. In her free time, she loves baking and going on long hikes. -

RVNDella joined our practice in 1986 as a receptionist, and later completed her veterinary nurse training with us. She mainly works at our Mona branch, and enjoys socialising with friends and family in her spare time.

RVNAmy qualified as a registered veterinary nurse in 2015, and has been with us since 2023. She holds a certificate in emergency and critical care, and has a border collie cross miniature poodle called Bowie and a Welsh pony called Alan. When she’s not working, she enjoys taking Bowie for walks and spending time with her loved ones.

RVN FdSc NCert(MedNsg)Mirain graduated from Nottingham Trent University in 2021, and became a clinical coach soon after. She enjoys all aspects of her job, especially anaesthesia, nursing inpatients and emergency and critical care. She has completed a postgraduate certificate in Medical Nursing and is ISVPS registered. In her spare time, she enjoys hiking, running and crocheting!

RVN VNCERT ECCLucy completed her veterinary nursing training with our practice, and qualified as a registered veterinary nurse in 2019. Her clinical interests include anaesthesia, medical nursing and developing her knowledge and skills. She is a nurse team leader at our Bangor practice, and spends much of her free time going on adventures with her Labrador, Bella.

RVNJayne joined our team in 2020, and has been a veterinary nurse since 1986. Her favourite part of her job is running nurse clinics, especially our weight management sessions. When she’s not working, she enjoys spending time with her family, taking her dog for coastal walks and going to the gym.

RVNRuth joined the team in 2011, and qualified as a registered veterinary nurse in 2016. She completed a companion animal qualification in 2022, and has a keen interest in anaesthesia and cytology. She lives on a farm with her four dogs, and raises beef cattle and sheep.

RVNCeri joined us as receptionist in 2016, before going on to qualify as a registered veterinary nurse. Her favourite part of her role is small animal inpatient care, and when she’s not working she enjoys competing ponies and helping out on her family farm.

RVNHannah joined our team in 2019 as an apprentice, and qualified as a registered veterinary nurse in 2022. She has a special interest in theatre and monitoring anaesthetics.

RVNSarah qualified as a registered veterinary nurse in 2000, and has a keen interest in canine behaviour, surgery and caring for geriatric patients. She lives with her partner and their two sons, as well as their three rescue dogs, Willow, Ned and Gwen.

RVNAlma has been a registered veterinary nurse since 2006, and enjoys running nurse clinics and animal behaviour work. She has successfully completed the BSAVA Animal Behaviour Merit Award course, and enjoys walking and spending time with her family and friends.

RVNFfion completed her veterinary nursing training in 2020, and loves exotics, animal behaviour and laboratory work. She is currently enrolled in a small mammal and exotics course, and spends much of her free time with her friends, family and cocker spaniel, Lwp.

RVNSophie studied at Glynllifon College and qualified in 2026. She has a black Labrador called Holly and a sproodle called Hari, who keeps her busy outside of work. In her free time, Sophie loves taking her dogs to the beach – particularly Llanddwyn Beach, and loves baking.

Katie joined us in 2022 as an Apprentice Animal Nursing Assistant and expanded her role in 2025 to also join our reception team. Outside of work, she enjoys competing and spending time with her horses, and she also has many years of experience in the dairy industry.

Practice Manager
Kayte has been with us since 2019, and can usually be found at our Mona surgery. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her family and tending to her home farm, where she keeps suckler cows and pigs.

Rhian is based at our Mona surgery, and has been part of the Bodrwnsiwn team since 1994. In her spare time, she enjoys walking, cycling and caring for her horses.

Veterinary Receptionist and TB Testing Administrator
Nia joined the team in 2005, and is based at our Mona surgery, where she is responsible for coordinating TB tests. Alongside her reception duties, she is also our chief party planner! Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her family and dogs, eating out and riding her pony, Simba.

Eifiona holds a BTEC diploma and a national certificate in agriculture, as well as a level two NVQ in business and administration. Before joining us in 2018, she worked on reception at another mixed animal practice. Outside of work, she is kept busy with her beef and sheep farm and pets.

Sarah joined our reception team in 2020, and previously worked in marine biology. She has loved all the learning that has come with joining a veterinary practice, and has two dogs, who she often walks in Newborough Forest.

Based at our Mona branch, Ceri joined our reception team in 2013 and is our farm visits coordinator. She loves horses, cattle, sheep and helping out on her family farm.

Sandra is based at our Mona branch, and has been with our practice since 2003. Her hobbies include knitting, baking, gardening and spending time with her grandchildren.

Roz graduated from Nottingham University with a degree in agricultural science in 1988, after which she went to Bangor to research embryo transfers in Welsh black cattle. Before joining us as a receptionist in 2017, she spent 24 years as a biology teacher. She has two horses, two cats, a tortoise and a dog.

Originally from the Wirral, Helen moved to Anglesey in 2019. After a few years spent working at another mixed animal practice, she joined our team in 2021. In her spare time, she loves walking up mountains with her dog and going out on her small fishing boat.
